![]() I changed them to match (double barlines) and now it works. One had the double lines and the other had the double lines with the dark bar. Finally I noticed that the double barlines at the end were not exactly the same in both scores. ![]() I compared it with a program that looked the same but worked the way I wanted. I still can't get rid of the ending but I started over with recognition and got the same problem as before. But I couldn't get rid of that last ending and the end of the score which is when I made this post. I finally decided that the program was confused with all my edits and I should remove all the endings and start over. ![]() I tried all kinds of things with the endings to no avail. For instance, it went from first ending 1 to the second ending 1, then back to the top. But when played, the playback jumped places I didn't want it to. My original problem was I had 2 sections, each with 2 alternate endings, both labeled 1 and 2. You can delete the extra measures at the end in Image Editor. It still didn't solve my problem with the alt endings so I'm going to start over with the recognition phase. I did find Edit/Add Empty Pages so I added a page with 1 System and 2 measures. I can only add barlines to the left of the ending so the alt ending always remains on the right at the end of the score. And if that is the correct way, it should be in the manual. The only method I can think of is to add (or delete) barlines and respace the staff. Adding and deleting measures are an absolutely necessity, in a notation product. And the developers keep denying that's true. I have said in the past that SSXP, and now SS64, are for scanning and recognizing music, not for notation. Admittedly, I may have missed it, and will be happy to be proven incorrect. I have been through the manual, and there is NOTHING about doing that. Click into the staff where you wish to insert a measure. To insert a measure into an existing system, Ctl + click on any existing barline (or select the Barline symbol from the Symbol Locator window (SS64 only). In Score Properties, select System > Insert Below. To insert new measures at the end of a score, right-click into the last system. If I can do that, I would then remove the extra measure. I want to try adding a measure so the ending isn't at the very end of the score. I'm trying to remove an alternate ending at the end of the score but it won't delete using the X. How do I add a measures to the end of the score? And how do I remove them? Sign up ( learn about it) | Sign in ( lost password?)
